Course Waivers

Course Waivers - applicable to the traditional On-Campus and Online M.B.A. and M.S.B.A. programs only.

Students applying to the M.B.A. or the M.S.B.A. programs must apply for any course waiver(s) before starting their first semester in the program. Waivers may be granted for up to six (6) credits (two courses) based on their previous coursework in an undergraduate business program. Eligible courses must have been completed at an accredited four-year college or university within the last ten (10) calendar years. Job experience, work-related training courses, or courses taken at a community college are not eligible for course waivers.

NOTE: Course waivers are NOT available to students applying to the Professional M.B.A  program, the Master of Accountancy (M.Acc.) degree program, the Master of Science in Finance-Wealth Management, the Master of Science in Finance - Financial Planning program or any of the graduate certificate programs (non-degree).

Petition for course waivers to these master's programs must be sent to the Associate Dean of Graduate programs or the Program Director of the specific degree program for review.
